CAREC Country Office in Kyrgyzstan
The CAREC country office in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan was established in 2001 in Bishkek.
Goal
Representing CAREC in Kyrgyzstan and fulfilling the CAREC mission in accordance with the CAREC Charter.
Objectives
- Implementation of the regional CAREC program in Kyrgyzstan;
- Supporting the initiatives in Kyrgyzstan aimed at improving the environment and sustainable development;
- Supporting and disseminating the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD);
- Developing the partnerships with the donors for the development of the Branch, programs and projects;
- Collaborating with the NGOs, governmental organizations and business entities in the field of environmental protection;
- Implementation the CAREC information program on environmental protection and SD between governmental, non-governmental and international organizations;
- Participating in the development of environmental information networks.
