CAREC maintains its status of a recognized organization of excellence and a social entrepreneur, which has proved its ability to perform in accordance with the social order without the previous financial support system and based on assistance received from donor organizations via participation in competitive tenders. Thus, CAREC represents a unique platform for cooperation of the Central Asian ecological community with international agents, which corresponds to the interests of both concerned government agencies and NGO’s in Central Asian states.
CAREC will continue to carry out its function of coordinating initiatives of donor agencies involved in Central Asia on a wide range of issues, including the “green growth” strategy, international initiatives on climate change, energy-related external policies, and other security issues in the broadest sense.
