Training of Trainers (ToT) on Simple Toolkit for MSMEs to Tackle Pandemic Oriented Challenges

09/11/2020, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The REAP (Resource Efficiency in Agri-food Production and Processing) project team is organizing a “Training of Trainers (ToT) on Simple Toolkit for MSMEs to Tackle Pandemic Oriented Challenges”. These sessions will take place online on 9th, 11th & 13th of November between 14:00 – 15:30 Tashkent time and trainings will be held through Zoom & Mural tools. ToT series and REAP project are supported by the SWITCH Asia programme funded by the European Union.

This hands-on toolkit brings together the most valuable, tried-and-tested tools from more than ten years of SEED support for eco-inclusive enterprises, each one closely reviewed, updated, and completed. Tools are designed and developed to support MSMEs to tackle some of the most common pandemic oriented challenges related to operational costs and cash cycle. SEED has surveyed around 50 enterprises that were supported in SEED project, to understand their pandemic related challenges and developed tools that can help industries to trigger their thoughts on how better they can cope with the current situation in terms of finances (costs) & market.

Through this Training of Trainers (ToT) programme, REAP project offers other partners (BDS) providers access to comprehensive Resilience toolkits, and further valuable insights into resilience of MSMEs. These resources support and equip participants to develop and adjust their services for MSMEs during and after the Covid-19 pandemic. The ToT will be held in English language. Moreover, the training opportunity has been also extended to other project partners of currently running SWITCH Asia projects in Central Asia.
