At this year's COP29, Kazakhstan will present initiatives, achievements, and partnerships in the fields of green technologies, renewable energy, and climate change adaptation at the Kazakhstan Pavilion.
An extensive program of activities is envisaged, which includes issues of green financing, decarbonization, mechanisms for the energy transition, and effective management of transboundary water resources. Participants in side events will exchange experiences and discuss the development of effective solutions to achieve climate goals.

The 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) started in Baku on November 11. At COP29, a fair and ambitious New Collective Quantitative Target related to climate finance is expected to be agreed upon.
