Countries of Central Asia and Afghanistan are extremely interlinked and interdependent on the issues of joint management and use of water resources. Nevertheless, each of the countries has its own national interests for the development of national economies, which are based on using water resources. Belonging to the common Aral Sea Basin implies the development of the regional dialogue on water resources management in order to achieve a common goal – sustainable development of the entire region. However, each country has its own approach to these issues.
