On 26 December 2025, within the framework of the project “Sustainable Landscape Restoration in the Republic of Tajikistan,” two specialized livestock transport vehicles were handed over to the State Institution “Pasture and Melioration Trust” of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan. The handover ceremony was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Rahmonzoda Loik Sherali, the Director of the Investment Projects Implementation Center Mr. Junaydzoda Muhibullo Habibullo, and the Acting Director of the Pasture and Melioration Trust Mr. H.N. Gazoev.
The vehicles were provided based on a Memorandum of Understanding between the Committee for Environmental Protection and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, with the aim of strengthening institutional capacity and operational effectiveness.
The initiative seeks to protect the environment and prevent damage to agricultural land and pastures during the seasonal movement of livestock between summer and winter pastures.

These measures are expected to contribute to improved pasture management, stronger inter-agency cooperation, and more sustainable use of natural resources.
