Within the framework of the project “Restoration of Sustainable Landscapes in the Republic of Tajikistan” (RESILAND Tajikistan), an official field mission was conducted from 13 to 20 January 2026 to the districts of Kabodiyon, Shahritus, and Nosiri Khusrav with the participation of project specialists.
The purpose of the mission was to monitor the implementation of project activities through Pasture User Associations (PUAs) and Common Interest Groups (CIGs), as well as to review documentation, assess the use of agricultural machinery, and plan further activities.
During the visits, working meetings were held with the leadership of PUAs, group representatives, and local communities.
It was established that the machinery, equipment, greenhouses, and veterinary supplies provided under the project are generally in good working condition and are being used for their intended purposes.

The operation of machinery is carried out in accordance with established procedures, and the generated income is allocated to the needs of the associations.
The implemented greenhouse and beekeeping initiatives contribute to the diversification of income sources and the improvement of beneficiaries' livelihoods.
Special attention was given to the condition of pasturelands. The fenced areas are in satisfactory condition, with visible recovery of grass cover and improved productivity.
Joint monitoring of demonstration plots, conducted together with district specialists, showed positive prospects for pasture restoration, provided that proper pasture rotation and sustainable land-use practices are observed.
Overall, the field mission made it possible to assess the progress of project implementation, strengthen cooperation with local partners, and identify priority areas for further work. Participants expressed satisfaction with the support provided by the project and their readiness to use the resources effectively.
