The project was implemented in Central Asian region in coordination with the European Environmental Agency (EEA) to ensure a link with SEIS in EECCA countries. The project promoted Shared Environmental Information System (SEIS) as a tool to improve environmental governance in countries, information exchange and regional cooperation.
- Organization of national seminar-consultations for national authorities and experts;
- Organization of a regional inter-agency working group on SEIS;
- Organization of national multistakeholder dialogues on access to environmental information, including national indicators sets, statistics, state of environment reports
- Publication of promotional materials and case studies of best practices environmental governance, reporting, and SEIS
- Development of the analytical report on implementing SEIS in CA countries;
- Conduct a gap analysis and report on the state of the water statistics in Kyrgyzstan
- policy-makers, public officials;
- NGOs, experts and scientists of Central Asia;
- leading experts, policy-makers and practitioners of EECCA.
